Overview
After the company saw intense success in the offline world, ProBite requested our assistance with bringing the company online, using a quick connection plumbing fittings website as its focal point. We worked closely with ProBite to ensure their website preserved and strengthened their established branding, in addition to adequately advertising their ProBite products.
Design
First, we created a custom logo that captured Probite’s branding and identity. Next, we built a website design with flash integration, in addition to a design template for their shopping cart. A professional in-house photo and video shoot captured quality images and recordings for the company’s product lines. Lastly, we created designs for brochures, newsletters, banners, business cards, and other general marketing items.
Development
Site construction required custom coding and template development for the X-Cart ecommerce platform, focusing on page development, ecommerce configurations, and other such customizations. In addition, special features were built into the front-end product pages, such as free shipping services, the shopping cart, specials, bestsellers, ratings, and product variants (e.g., multiple size options for one product listing). The project concluded with a custom distributor program offering side-wide discounts based on a customer’s user-level.
SEO
Optimization began with targeted branding content and a focus on keywords related to “push connect fittings.” Ongoing SEO management tracks keyword search rankings and overall movement of keywords in search engine result pages (SERPs).
Programming
Extensive backend programming was required to build a system for production order tracking, with different user-levels for administrators, sales members, and warehouse managers. The system tracks orders placed, prioritizing them by multiple conditions, such as when the order was placed, the shipping distance/time, and the order’s priority level. The system also tracks back-orders, and records shipping details and notes.
